WE BUILD FAITH AND FOUNDATION Pastoral staff

Pastor Michael Thomas:
Rev. Michael A. Thomas is a rostered member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for eighteen years. His call to service began in a mission church in the Bronx. While in that setting his hunger for the things of God increased. He became a member of the “diakonia program” and graduated in 1997.He received his theological education from General Theological Seminary in NY, and The Lutheran Theological seminary at Philadelphia. He was ordained in 2002 for the ministry of Word and Sacrament. He has faithfully served at St. Peter’s in the Bronx and as Pastor of New Hope for All Saints Lutheran Church. My desire for Trinity is with Gods help to use my experience in congregation growth to bring our church back to its former status and minister to those seeking in the community.
Deacon Steve Daniels
Steven Daniels has been a member at Trinity Lutheran Church since 2010. He became became a Synodical Deacon and Assisting Minister at Trinity Lutheran Church in 2017. Steve serve as a council member for Metro New York Synod. Synod comes from two Greek words that mean ” a way together” . Steve’s goal is to share the Grace extended through our Lord and savior Jesus to all, in hope that we find our way together.

Jennifer Sonia Goode
Serving as an Assisting Minister and Senior Altar Guild member of Trinity Lutheran Church was years in the making. My grandparents Josephus and Violet Wilson were active members, big fundraisers and dedicated servants of God. Their love and dedication for Trinity, and supporting the needs and mission of the church were passed down to me. As a child growing up at Trinity Lutheran, I started out in Sunday school, vacation bible school (which was held in the yellow house right in front of Trinity!), confirmation, and the Junior Altar Guild. I eventually became an acolyte and faithfully assisted most Sundays on the Altar. However, it was my learning and training as a Junior Altar Guild member under the leadership of Mrs. Janet LeGendre where I was taught the essentials and sacredness of the Altar.
Today, the wonderful legacy of the Trinity Lutheran Church Altar Guild Group continues. We have kept the Altar and Sanctuary sacred and welcoming for all.
Professionally I have been blessed to be in my current company going on 20 years within the Corporate Bankruptcy/Restructuring field.
